Are pets affected by the deer whistle?

Does the deer whistle for you car affect pets (dogs)?


From the webmaster: good question. You have to be driving fast to make the whistles work, so that would cut down on effecting most dogs, but I truely don't know if it bothers them. I have never read that it bothers other animals. It is just supposed to scare animals, not bother them, so at worst it should just keep them from running in front of a car. Readers???
