Hostas

We call them "deer candy." They eat them down to the roots. Fortunately the hostas are hardy and each year they come back.


I hate to see them destroyed though. They form huge clusters of plants that are lovely.

We hope to shoot a deer again this year. They're yummy and better than beef.

Yes, deer love to eat all hostas. They will just leave the flower and flower stalk.

Hostas like candy to deer

The deer here in NE Ohio ate my Hostas before I got them planted out of the box and bag they were in sitting by the house.
