I live on 5 acres in N. Ca. Deer are prevalent! But, I found a good cure BLOOD MEAL!! Not only does it it fertilize--but it keeps the deer away!! Apply liberally all over your yard.

Never worked for me

I tried quite a few pounds of blood meal, and although it is supposed to be a good fertilizer, and I find the smell to not be too pleasing, the deer were completely unaffected by it. I live near Portland, OR.
